Non-slip bath and shower tray coating at your home, anywhere in the UK

Non-slip bath & shower coating without replacing anything

Smooth baths and trays are easy to clean but slippery with soap and water. A non-slip coating adds a fine texture to the standing area, giving grip underfoot while keeping the bath looking much as it did.

We travel to you anywhere in the UK, and every repair comes with our one-year guarantee. Send us a photo for a free, no-obligation quote.

What we fix

  • A bath or tray that is slippery when wet
  • Bath mats that harbour mould or get forgotten
  • Worn-out textured areas
  • Resurfaced baths that are now too smooth
  • Safety for older or less mobile people

Materials we work on

  • Acrylic baths

How it works

  1. We clean and degrease the standing area.
  2. We mask out the area to be treated.
  3. We apply the clear textured coating.
  4. We remove the masking for a neat edge.
  5. The coating is left to cure before use, usually overnight.

Who it helps

It suits homes with older or less mobile people, children, holiday lets and care settings, and anyone who doesn’t want a bath mat.

After re-enamelling

Suction bath mats can damage a resurfaced bath, so a non-slip coating is a good way to add grip after re-enamelling.

Non-slip bath and shower tray coating: common questions

Will the coating change how my bath looks?

It is clear and textured, so it shows only as a slightly matt area where you stand.

Is it easy to clean?

Yes. Clean it with a soft brush and a mild cleaner.

Can you add it to a new bath?

Yes. We often treat new acrylic baths that turn out to be slippery.

Can I use a bath mat as well?

You shouldn’t need one, and suction mats can damage some finishes.

Is it worth repairing rather than replacing?

Usually, if the item is otherwise sound. A repair avoids the cost and disruption of removal, plumbing and making good. If replacement would be better, we’ll tell you.

Do you charge for a quote?

No. Quotes are free and fixed, based on your photos.
