The first few days
Follow the curing time we give you before using the bath. Avoid putting toiletries, wet bottles or a bath mat in it until the finish has fully cured.
Everyday cleaning
- Use a soft cloth or sponge with warm water and washing-up liquid, or a mild non-abrasive bathroom cleaner.
- Rinse and wipe the bath dry after use where you can, especially in hard water areas, to stop limescale building up.
What to avoid
- Abrasive cleaners and scourers, which dull the gloss.
- Suction bath mats, whose suckers can pull at the finish. If you need grip, ask about a non-slip coating.
- Leaving bottles and razors standing on the surface, which can mark it.
- Hair dye and strong chemicals, which can stain.
- Dropping heavy items, which can chip any bath.
If it gets chipped
A chip in a resurfaced bath can be repaired like any other. Contact us and send a photo.
Every job is different. Send us a photo and we’ll tell you what we’d recommend for your bath, sink or surface.
