Wood and laminate floor repair at your home, anywhere in the UK

Wood & laminate floor repair without replacing anything

A single damaged board can spoil a whole floor, and replacing it can mean lifting half the room. We repair the damage in place and match it to the colour and grain of the boards around it.

We travel to you anywhere in the UK, and every repair comes with our one-year guarantee. Send us a photo for a free, no-obligation quote.

  • Chipped board edges
  • Burns
  • Gouges from moving appliances

  • Laminate flooring
  • Engineered wood

How it works

  1. We clean the damaged area.
  2. We fill dents, chips and gouges.
  3. We level the repair to the board surface.
  4. We recreate the colour and grain by hand.
  5. We finish the repair to match the sheen of the floor.

Water-swollen laminate

If laminate has swollen along its joints from water, the core is damaged and the board needs replacing. A surface repair won’t fix swelling, and we’ll say so.

Wood and laminate floor repair: common questions

Can you repair a scratched laminate floor?

Yes. We fill and colour-match scratches and chips to the pattern.

Can you fix a dent in a wooden floor?

Yes, by filling and colour-matching it to the grain.

Do I need to move furniture?

Only from the area we’re working on.

Can you fix swollen laminate?

No. Swelling means the board’s core is damaged, so it needs replacing.

Is it worth repairing rather than replacing?

Usually, if the item is otherwise sound. A repair avoids the cost and disruption of removal, plumbing and making good. If replacement would be better, we’ll tell you.

Do you charge for a quote?

No. Quotes are free and fixed, based on your photos.
