Repairs at your home in London
We travel to homes and businesses across London to repair and resurface baths, shower trays, sinks, worktops and other hard surfaces. Everything is done in place, so there’s no need to remove the bath or disturb your tiles. Our technicians bring everything with them, mix the colour on the day and leave the room clean and tidy.
We work for homeowners, landlords, letting agents, housing providers, builders and hotels in London and the surrounding area. Most jobs are booked from photos, so you know the price before anyone visits.
Period baths and upstairs flats
London has a huge stock of Victorian and Edwardian homes with cast iron baths, and many flats where getting a bath up or down the stairs is a job in itself. Repairing or re-enamelling in place avoids both problems. London’s hard water also leaves limescale that dulls enamel over time; read how hard water affects your bath.
Water and your bath in London
Thames Water and Affinity Water supply most of London with hard water. Hard water leaves limescale on baths, trays and taps, and scrubbing it off with abrasive pads or strong descalers is one of the main reasons enamel and acrylic lose their shine. Wipe the bath after use, use a mild limescale remover that is safe for your bath and rinse it off well. After a repair or re-enamel, a soft cloth and washing-up liquid is all you need day to day. Read caring for a re-enamelled bath for more.

Repair, re-enamel or replace?
If the bath is sound and the damage is a chip, crack, rust spot or small hole, a repair is the quickest and cheapest fix. If the whole surface is worn, stained or dull, or you want to change a coloured bath to white, re-enamelling gives it a new finish without a refit. Replacement usually only makes sense if the bath is badly cracked through, leaking from the body or you want a different shape or size, because taking a bath out normally means lifting tiles, reworking pipes and redecorating.
